WHAT OUR CLIENTS HAVE TO SAY
Permanent Brow Cost & Information
OMBRE BROWS / POWDER BROWS
165 MINUTES £290
Ombre brows also known as powder brows are created by gently building up layers of soft, pixelated shading. This is a great treatment to mimic the effect of brow makeup created with a pencil, pomade or powder. The front of the brow is soft and light, gradually getting darker towards the tail to give the perfect ombre effect. We can keep the shading soft to achieve a delicate haze of colour once healed, or build up the shading to give a deeper colour and more defined shape – the choice is yours! This style is suitable for most skin types, but especially suits skin that is oily and/or has large pores.
COMBINATION BROWS
150 MINUTES £290
This style is the perfect combination of strokes and shading. We can create a variety of looks by blending these two techniques together to achieve a fluffy, natural but defined look – it’s the ultimate brow treatment. You could opt for strokes all through the brow with a light dusting of shade, or strokes just at the front leading into a perfectly defined, shaded tail. Whether you prefer your brows textured and natural or sleek and defined, we can create the perfect look for you.
This treatment provides long lasting results that are suitable for most skin types.
HAIRSTROKE BROWS
135 MINUTES £250
Otherwise known as Microblading, this is the most natural looking, realistic treatment we offer. Individual hairstrokes are implanted using a super fine needle to mimic the look of your natural hairs to create the look of a fuller, fluffier brow.
This treatment is not suitable for skin that is very oily and/or has large pores in the forehead area. In these skin types strokes often heal powdery with little detail, and fade faster – combination or ombre are great alternatives.
ANNUAL TOP UPS/COLOUR BOOSTS
6 - 17 MONTH COLOUR BOOST £150
18 - 24 MONTH COLOUR BOOST £195
The pigments we use are designed to fade over time, this means that we can create soft, natural results and gives us the opportunity to adapt your brows over time.
Typically your brows could last anywhere up to 2 years, depending on a few factors such as your skin type, lifestyle and aftercare. We recommend you return after 12-18 months for a colour boost to keep your permanent eyebrows looking their best. Colour boost prices are reserved for our existing clients only.
About Permanent Eyebrows
WHAT ARE PERMANENT EYEBROWS?
PMU Brows, otherwise known as Microblading, Eyebrow Tattooing, or Micropigmentation is a permanent makeup treatment where pigment is gently implanted into the skin to create the desired effect. It's a similar concept to regular body tattooing, however the pigments used in permanent makeup are designed to fade over time. This allows us the flexibility to change the brows over time, and helps us create soft, natural looking results. Permanent eyebrows are the perfect solution for anyone who wants better shaped brows without the daily hassle of applying brow makeup.
Questions About PMU Brows
PMU BROW TREATMENTS FAQs
-
There isn’t one fixed answer for this as many different things can affect your retention, such as skin type, medical health and lifestyle factors. Things such as sun exposure/sunbed use will cause fading, and those who have oily skin may experience their brows fading slightly quicker. Maisie will advise you on how to care for your brows at your appointment. We typically advise having a colour boost after 12-18 months to keep the brows looking fresh.
-
Yes, your new shape will be drawn on in pencil first so you have the opportunity to check it and make any tweaks if necessary. Once you're happy with the pencil drawing then the treatment will being.
-
Microblading is a form of Permanent Makeup and is the name for the tool that is used during the treatments - both are forms of eyebrow tattoo. Our brows are created using a digital machine but we can achieve exactly the same results as a microblade. No one technique gives better results than the other, it all depends on the skill of your artist NOT what tools they use.
-
You cannot wear any brow makeup for a minimum of two weeks, however you are welcome to wear makeup on the rest of your face but please be super careful to avoid the brow area.
-
If you arrive with perfect eyebrows then of course Maisie will be happy to follow your own shape, but the likelihood of this happening is slim.
Maisie will measure and design your brows carefully to suit your face. You have chosen to come to a professional who is experienced in their field, so please follow her advice if she thinks the shape needs to be changed.
-
Everyone has different pain threshold's but the majority of clients would rate it a 2/3 out of 10. Every effort is taken to ensure you are as comfortable as possible throughout your treatment - a lot of clients actually fall asleep while getting their brows done!
-
When your brows are first done they will appear darker, once they have healed the colour softens by around 30/40%. If you are feeling nervous I advise selecting a lighter colour at your first appointment, and we can always go darker at your top up session if we want to - it's easier to add than take away!
-
The results are long lasting, however they will fade over time and as such will require some maintenance if you wish to upkeep your results.
-
No, I will try and include as much of your natural brow has in your new shape as I can. The only hairs that get removed are stray hairs that lie outside the new shape.
-
I advise avoiding any heavy, strenuous exercise for at least 3-4 days. Sweat can have a negative effect on your healed result and may risk an infection.
