About Laminated Brows
WHAT IS BROW LAMINATION?
Brow lamination is a two step process that helps us to manipulate the direction of your brow hairs by setting them in position to create a totally new shape that lasts up to 10 weeks. The cream in step 1 breaks down the bonds in the hairs and allows us to reposition the hairs into their new place, and the cream in step 2 helps to reform those bonds and lock those brows in position.
Next the brows are tinted, waxed and plucked to perfection, and a nourishing brow serum is applied to ensure those hairs are kept hydrated while your new lamination continues to fix into shape over the next 48 hours.
You can go for super brushed up and fluffy, or swept over and sleek - it all depends on your personal preference. Whichever style you go for brow lamination will make your brows much easier to shape, and creates the illusion of a fuller brow using only your existing brow hair. Not only do your new brows look great, they're so much easier to manage - it's a revelation!
The results of your brow lamination will last up to 10 weeks with the correct after care. It’s important to allow the lift to have completely dropped from the hairs before we can perform the treatment again to avoid over-processing. In the meantime you can pop in for a maintenance appointment to clean up any regrowth and refresh that colour with either our regular brow tint or brow henna.
Questions About Eyebrow Lamination
BROW LAMINATION FAQs
-
As this is a chemical process its important to wait the full amount of time between treatment to maintain healthy brow hairs. We advise a minimum of 6-8 weeks between treatments, during this time the lift will gradually drop out. You can return for a brow lamination maintenance treatment at the 4 week mark to refresh the tint and clean up any regrowth.
-
Aftercare is very important with brow lamination to ensure you maintain healthy brows. You will be provided with a nourishing serum that you can apply to your brows after your treatment. When this runs out we advise purchasing your own products to care for the brow hairs. You can also condition the brows with your regular hair conditioner.
-
Not in the same appointment. As brow lamination is a chemical procedure, mixing those ingredients with henna brows in the same treatment would cause adverse reactions. You will get a regular tint at your brow lamination appointment, and if you wanted to you could swap your 4 week brow lamination maintenance appointment for a henna brows appointment.
-
Results will vary depending on your natural hair growth, not all brows suit this treatment. Brows which are very sparse, or very uneven may not be suitable.
-
The lamination products we use haven't been tested for use during pregnancy so we can't guarantee it's safety, therefore we do not advise while pregnant.
